How long have you been building with LEGO? How long have you been creating MOCs?

I started building as an adult and was not a Lego kid at all. So it was about 14 years ago, give or take. Time flies when your building! When the economy tanked, no one was looking for a freelance 3d modeler or Animator. So, I ended up getting a job as an assistant kindergarten teacher at my church's Child Care Center.
A little boy begged me to come and "play legos" with him.  After starting to build with him, I suddenly saw that Lego could be an art medium.  I was at Target a while later and noticed a City street light/electric maintenance vehicle on 50% off clearance.  Thought why not. That was it the beginning. Found out about TwinLug about a year or so later.

What creation of yours are you most proud of? 

Hmm that's a hard one. I like alot of the things I build. I tend rank things more with memories and experiences with personal importance.  I think The Tree (a Triptic, random element sculpted mosaic) is up there. It opened up so many doors for me.  I met so many people and friends because of that piece, found out, and ended up going to Brickworld because of it. Made me want to explore art with Lego, and so many other things.

What are your favorite creations to build and why?

Anything! Everything. I really like trying new styles, themes, ect. Building something I haven't tried in the past or finding a different approach to something is what gets me excited for the build.
