Builder of the Plains:

This award winner represents the best of all builders at Brick Days.   It is not just about the size of the display. It is about the artistic and engineering innovation, imagination, and originality contained in this individual’s creations.  The winner not only receives a trophy but will be enshrined on the Brick Days trophy with an engraved brick with their name.

The Brick Days Trophy is displayed at every Brick Days event and is a photo opportunity for those in attendance and guests.
If Brick Days or LEGO had a Heisman or Stanley Cup trophy - this would be it!

Awards

Awards Eligibility

In order for a creation to be eligible for an award, it must be labeled with a MOC card. If a creation has been at Brick Days previously, it will only be eligible for an award if it has undergone significant modification. Determination of whether modifications are significant is the sole responsibility of the judges.

Judging Process

Nominations + Voting:
The Brick Days panel of judges, which consists of judges from across the registered attendees, will look at all the creations on Friday evening to determine their top three.  Those top three per category will be uploaded to the voting form so that full VIB’s will be able to vote.

Judged:

The Brick Days panel of judges will look at the creations and will select their favorite.

Open Voting:
All registered attendees, including the guests on public days, are invited to select their favorite creation at Brick Days!
